CONFERENCE AGENDA
Today's conference will proceed as follows:
- Introductions by Chair
- Distribution of reports received
- Presentation of the details surrounding the alleged incidents or cause for concern, including family's views
- Discussion of the nature and level of risk to the child(ren) including parents' and children's views
- Discussion about the requirements for a child protection plan for the child(ren)
- Appointment of Lead Social Worker/ Core Group
- Date of first Core Group to draw up Child Protection Plan
- Date of first Child Protection Review Conference
PRINCIPLE OF PARENT/CHILD PARTICIPATION
Knowsley LSCB fully encourages the participation of both parents and children (if of sufficient age and understanding) at child protection case conferences.
